Does anyone else still write 'I' instead of 'we' on cards?
DH and I are married for over 2 yrs and I still make the mistake sometimes of writing out b-day and holiday cards with "I hope you have... " instead of "we hope you have...".
am I the only one?

No I do that all the time..... I went to my brothers house for X-mas and saw my Christmas card on the counter.. went over and realized I wrote... I wish you a very.... I hope you......
It is sooo bad!

We use the Royal "we" even we are only referring to the single "we". 
We've been married for almost 13 years, so "I" has disappeared a long time ago....

it's so weird b/c I haven't once written out my maiden name by accident. yet sometimes I still write "I" on a card  very strange

I do it all the time, been married for almost 4 months...it's a hard habit to break...I realized I did this on some of our Christmas cards..

I do sometimes, but it really depends on the card. If its a card to my friend for her birthday or something, and its one of those gushy "friendship" cards, I'll sign it "I." Otherwise, I'm already in the "we" zone. Married 4 years.

i do this too. or, i realize mid-way through whatever i am writing that i used "i" and switch over to "we" part way through!

this is what happens with me too. the card winds up with a mix of both we's and i's. hopefully the recipient doesn't notice!
