I hate bras!

I used to be pre-pregnancy between a B and C cup, the lady at Pea in a Pod in Manhasset measured me 2 weeks ago to be between a C and D. I refused to buy a bra there b/c of price (like $50) and pushy salespeople.

So I went o Macys Maternity section and bought 3 nursing bras in 36 D. I wore one and the wire was hurting me between the "girls" really bad. So I returned the 2 I didn't wear. I bought a cheapy Maternity/Nursing bra while I was returning the underwire that has no wire (and was like $12.). So I'm wearing it to decide if I like it and it's pinching me underneath.

Any good (and reasonably priced) bra recomendations? Should I get plain maternity bras now and buy nursing bras after? I just thought I'd spend the money one time rather than having to go out and go through this shopping crap all over again.

How far along are you? I started at a C, then D, now I am 29w and up to a DD.

I bought a few inexpensive nursing bras to get me through until I stop growing/engorgement and then will buy more.

While they are super comfortable, they don't hold me "together" like my regular bras do. I hope to find better ones when I buy bras again.

I ordered a nursing bra online from the Gap around 30w. When it came it was tight & uncomfortable, but somehow I never got around to returning it. Thank goodness!!!!!! It is a lifesaver now at 4w PP.

I tried on a bunch before the baby was born and they were all uncomfortable so I never bought them in the stores. I borrowed 2 from my sister, but since they were underwire (and I don't wear underwire normally) they lasted the trip home from the hospital only.
