Registry question
Did you register for front facing car seat? I registered for the travel sysem that comes with a car seat, how long do babies use that?

I did. I got 2 Britax ones. I think my DD used the infant carrier until she was about 8 months.

Your basic carseat (that you'd find with most travel systems) will most likely hold 20-30 lbs. They're designed to fit rear-facing as infant seats.
You turn the baby front facing after he/she is 20lbs AND 1 year old. So if the baby outgrows the seat before 1 year, you can change to a convertible seat.
To register for the convertible seat now, you can if you want. We did. You don't really need it right away with the travel system seat....but what's the worse that can happen? Someone might buy it for you!!?

I am registering for 2 also....so much easier than switching from car to car all of the time.
