Well, it looks like it's ALL me
So, the RE says the primary impediment to us getting pregnant is that DH's sperm aren't moving well in my CM, even though I have a "marvelous" abundancy of CM.
DH's SA results came back today - totally normal, and in the words of the assistant, qutie good for count, morphology AND motility.
So, that leads to one and only one conclusion - the problem lies within my apparent "hostile" CM.
So, this cycle I'm taking evening primrose oil twice a day, drinking plenty of grapefruit juice, using pre-seed and I started Mucinex yesterday.
Let's hope these self-help remedies will turn my hostile mucous to some warm, welcoming, non-aggressive mucous!

My friend has a "hostile" enviroment also. They did an IUI to help the "litle guys" along and she got pg on the first try

Yeah, that's what our RE suggested as well. We decided to give it another month or two trying on our own with some of the remedies mentioned above, and if that doesn't work, we'll move to natural IUI.

Good luck! Just FYI, those natural remedies can take a few months before they really start working.

Good luck! Why is your CM so mad all the time? Maybe talk to it, tell it you love it and see if that helps with the hostility

i don't know if it will help, but i tend to have thicker-than-normal CM around O time and no CM at all on the day that i O, so i used pre-seed this month and i *think* it may have helped, as the spermies had a place to "hang out"
i also used regular robitussin around the time that i O'd, although i didn't really *see* a difference, but who knows?

Who knows??? Apparently it wasn't hostile exactly 3 years ago when I conceived Alex, so something must have ticked it off since then!

That's exactly me - I noticed that the consistency of my CM changed dramatically over the last year. It used to be in overabundance and much less thick.
So, right now I'm all doped up on Mucinex, and honestly I DO see a dramatic difference, and I mean DRAMATIC. And, I'm using the pre-seed tonight for the first time. Hopefully I'll be following in your footsteps shortly!
