I grew up in Commack and DH and I would like to move to that area or Hauppauge, but the taxes my parent's pay are a bit steep - however they do have a nice property/house. Depends on what you are looking for I guess. School District 10 is very good, Commack Schools. Granted I graduated in over 15 years ago. Only issue is I think it got more traffic congestion over the years, but still far better than Nassau and that just seems to be the way LI is.
