DH is working. Then he tells me, "Oh the boss won't be in, so, I may have to stay till 5:30 in case he calls looking for me"
He may shoot the boss an email once he's done with his work and tell him he's leaving.

I've been here since 8:30 and have not done 1 thing work related.
