There is something to be said for coming into work
No one on the trains into the city. No shoving, squeezing or standing due to overcrowding Going to leave early (and everyone knows it) Lay back ‘who cares why we’re here’ feel to the office Business Casual as opposed to stuffy Business attire Food and more food
I made triple chocolate walnut brownies We have cheese and crackers, meats and fruits
Rumor is other ‘spirits’ may appear later haha

Sounds awesome.... I'm jealous! (especially of the 'spirits' and the brownies!)

Re: There is something to be said for coming into work
My brownies are insane.
I start with triple chocolate brownies that come with three types of chocolate chips inside the mix. Ghirardelli of course. Then I go buy more chocolate chips (semi-sweet/dark).
I put two pouches of the mix with the two eggs and twice value water, oil. Mix then add in half the bag of chips and about 2/3 cup of walnuts. If I’m feeling it, I’ll add about ¼ bag of white chocolate too or substitute walnuts with macadamias (less of course).
Line my 13X9 with parchment (my very best friend in the whole wide world) and dump it all! Twice the batter, twice the thickness.
I try to find the big dark chocolate chips cause dang it they are good. Usually make two batches one with and one without nuts. I ran out of oil last night though. So that’s usually FOUR packages of brownie mix.
Yummilious!
This time I accidentally melted a few of the extra chips before adding to the batter. So I dumped them in with basically dark chocolate melted syrup. So my brownies right now are extra soft and sweet.
