DNA testing to be done in Tankleff case
In a decision that was not as widely publicized as the one vacating Marty's conviction, the court has finally ordered the prosecutor to turn over the mom's fingernail clippings. There may have been DNA from her attacker under her nails. The court ordered testing against Marty, Creedon, Steuerman and Kent (all people whose names have come up before in this case). I asked on the supporter's website why this decision was not widely publicized. Marty's main press contact responded that the fingernail clippings might mot have been properly preserved. In the past, the defense team was denied the clippings on procedural grounds.

I am sure they did not preserve them properly. Why would they it could very well prove Marty's innonnece and they don't want that. Hopefully for Marty's sake it will have the DNA of the real people that killed his parents and can finally be free
