Clubs
So I haven't gone to a club-like place in gosh, I can't remember when!
Two of my friends wanted to check out that place "The Crazy Donkey" last night.
Now my husband can drive me completely crazy sometimes, but after seeing the "scene" there last night, all I can say is THANK GOD I'M NOT SINGLE!!!
That is all.................

i agree totally..i couldn't imagine having to go through that courtship period again..but then again..its nice to get the attention too

My friend and I walked into the Crazy Donkey we stayed 1/2 hour and we left. I never felt sooooo old

Same here! We were joking around because everyone who worked there as we were leaving was like "be safe ladies". We're like "be safe? You need to BEWARE of this place" LOL.
I did ask for suggestions of places to go last night but no one responded. Help me out next time LOL!

there is a bar on merrick road - it used to be Napper Tandys but the name has changed eight times since - its on the border of massapequa and amityville - im sorry I should have responded then you wouldnt have had to subject yourself to the Donkey...
the 56th figher group is a good place to go in the summer (across from the Donkey)

Oh, I think you are talking about McCann's. I've been there several times before, and that's definitely much more my style than The Crazy Donkey!
We were going to go to the 56th fighter place for dinner, but got there too late!

McCann's? I love this place! DH is a Cop and all the guys go there too! I went to the one in Astoria on Friday for lunch, cute place and good bar food!
I went to the Donkey last year with friends, I left when it started to get busy and they are all single...pick up place and not my scene anymore...although 10 years ago would have been great!!!
