glider for short people?
This might sound silly, but I tried sitting in all the gliders at Babies R Us, and only a few of them were comfortable - in most of them my feet did not touch the ground. I am hoping to find one where my feet touch the ground so I can rock and not have to wiggle to get out of the glider with a sleeping baby in my arms .
I had picked one out, but then read bad reviews on the BRU website about it.
Anyone have any suggestions? I might try JC Penneys or BBB, but don't feel like driving all over the place.
TIA!!!

I'm not that tall myself (5'2") and ended up ordering mine from Behrs. They have about 25 Dutailier gliders that you can sit on and test out and I remember one towards the back that was smaller in size compared to the others (and cheaper!). Good luck finding one!

Re: glider for short people?
With DD#1 I always rocked with my feet up on the ottoman, its a lot easier on the back. I am 5'2" and never found it an issue, I am used to my feet not touching, on my couch, in DH's truck, the dining room chairs etc

Re: glider for short people?
Yep, I'm 5 feet and definitley used to my feet not touching the floor... I'm afraid to get an ottoman with the glider. I'm clumsy already, and don't need anything else to trip over!
Anyone else have any suggestions?
TIA, again
