Do you have a golf club membership?
DH and I have been thinking about becoming memebrs of a golf club/course. We have found memberships from $20K/year - $8K a year.
While the public courses are great - there are some other things that we are looking for that a private course offers.
Is anyone a member of a course or have any experience or even hear say over some courses?
NW Suffolk would be optimal.

my dad was a memeber of one in suffolk- I can't remember the name but it was kind of on the newer side- and very nice
it was about 20 minutes east of Setauket

We got married at the Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club in Hauppauge. I never played there but my uncle has quite a few times and loves that place.

DH and I would eventually like to become members at Bellport Country Club. A few of our friend's parents are members there.

my parents are members of huntington country club and i have been at crescent club a lot - crescent club seems younger then huntington country club
