What's the longest you've ever stayed awake?

Just wondering what the longest consecutive time people have stayed awake. Once you lie down and doze off, the clock stops, so if you cat-napped during the day, it's not consecutive. Otherwise, most moms could honestly give timelines of days, weeks, or even months!

My longest stint was 50 hours, in college. I routinely pulled all-nighters, so 36+ hours was not uncommon. One time, after an all-nighter, I was in the ER with someone over night, so there was no sleep that night, either. I had a quiz the next day, so I couldn't fall asleep when I got back from the ER.

Word to the wise..... don't stay up for 50 hours straight!

40 something hours. Its scary how 24+ hours is a routine thing for me lately

in high school i went on a school trip to south carolina and florida. our first stop was myrtle beach, and then we took a coach bus overnight to orlando. i can't sleep in moving vehicles, so i was awake from about 7am to 11 pm the following night - about 40 hours.

I think about 48 hours after having DD. I labored through the night on a Sunday, and didn't get to go to sleep until Monday night and even then I only had about 2 hours sleep.

ok...no ****...14 days...and it was purrrrrrrrrre hell.
I was sick, insomnia and throw in the mix a seizure med that was soppose to help with back pain and I decided to stop cold turkey and it must have messed with brain chemicals...I started to see things that were not there it was soooooooo bad,
never ever again.......it *****.I looked bad.
i didn't know it was possible to stay up so long.

I get sick about 36 hours but I did stay up for at least 48hours once. (lock in) I can’t remember staying up longer than that.

Longest I’ve been at work: 28 hour day. Came in at 9am left the next day at 2pm. This was back in 1999 when I worked as a Claim rep and I was working on a Claim report for an insured which was finally organized into a three inch binder.

The next day when people came in and saw I had the same clothes on they said something to me and I told my boss to shut them all up and to shove it, if he wanted the job done and done right to leave me the heck alone and bring me a Dr. Pepper.

I kinda remember saying that and I definitely remember going home and taking the next day off. When I got back I thought I’d lose my job as my boss was not one of those ‘buddy-buddy’ types to begin with. They all acted like nothing happened. Lovely, eh? And what’s worse I never got recognition for the work and it didn’t even count on my review. No overtime since I was a salaried employee! I quit that job a year later. Ugh, Corporate America!

27 hours. That was enough for me. My flights kept being cancelled and I had to take 3 connections.

Almost one day - Dance Marathon in college. Queen Latifah performed.

48 hours for a hellish closing at my old job. It really took a toll on me. Never again!

ETA: I was pretty good with the single all-nighters though - I did them about 1-2 times per month at my old job.

I am not sure of the exact amount of time, but when I pledged I was up for almost all of hell week. I think I napped for an hour here and there.

not sure what the hours equate to...but it was something like this:

we were closing a huge M&A deal...

woke up Friday morning at 6am - got to work at 7am, worked straight through until Tuesday afternoon at 3pm - got home at 5pm, and slept until THURSDAY....

I worked from Saturday at 8 am through Tuesday 5pm for an annual show I did back in 2001, 2002, 2003 (so pretty much that schedule of 80 hours each time)
It was insane....

I routinely pull 24 hour nights for big shows...worked from 7 am Wed-7pm on Thursday to post the BR!CK Awards for the CW last April abd then didn't go to bed until 11 pm when I got home and was up again at 6 am with Bella--I was a ZOMBIE...

I'm just getting off a bad stint.
It wasn't completly sleepless but before returning home from the holiday trip I was on I got about five hours sleep total in three days. Half the sleep was all at once the other half was broken down to twnety minute incriments.
I full on slept 9 hours last night and my body is feeeling the crash.
I will probably be in and out of naps today
