OMG, I'm so glad it's over!!! I was thinking about taking down the tree today, but I think Dh would be mad. I'm just glad that when I turn on the radio on today, I won't have to hear "It's the most wonderful time of the year." I was ready to pull my hair out everytime I heard that song.

I'll be happier once New Years is over -- we are having people over for NY Eve - and NY Day.
After cleaning up after Christmas dinner yesterday - I could shoot myself for opening my big mouth inviting people over!

totally relieved--no more spending $$ and worrying that i didn't get enough for people.
but i do love the part where we all get together with family and friends and just enjoy ourselves!

I know it sounds so scrooge of me... but in a way, I am. There's so much battle of which family is where, when to see Dh family, when to see mine, how to split the time to it's 100% equal, carting gifts everywhere, having camera's shoved in your face, racing to buy gifts, wrap them, exchange them... it's too much for one day. Especially if you don't have the week off, you have to fit all that in, along with making time to see any family you missed or couldn't make it to while logging in a normal work week. It can be overwhelming...
