So Pi$$ed!!! - Update

DH left the house to go Christmas shopping at 9:30 pm. Mind you he only has to buy for me because I did all the shopping for both of our families and have the presents wrapped and ready to go. Anyway, I call him at 1:45 am to find out where he is and he's at a bar with his friend. He told me he got a call from him and decided to meet up with him. Then he told me that he'll go shopping tomorrow. Now he has to work tomorrow and my family celebrates Christmas Eve so we are leaving for my mom's house in the afternoon. But I guess having a beer tonight was so f@#king important! I just called him again to find out when he's coming home and he said it's going to be a while. Does he really need to be at a bar on Christmas Eve morning!!! I'm so angry!


Update:
DH did go to the bar and come home drunk, but he blew off work the next day and went shopping. I told him how upset I was when he got home and he apologized. He said that he wasn't thinking and didn't mean to upset me. Appology accepted

Sounds JUST like my husband....Men can't live with them.....wouldn't want to live without them, but it could make life easier in some ways

I would be p-od also, i would definetely call him back and tell him how mad you are that he did not run this by you first before he decided to go to the bar, and say well i guess your friend is more important than me... believe me he will feel guilty.

I admit, as I was reading I was thinking, "Hmmmm maybe he's trying to throw you off", but, I don't know. Hopefully that was the case...BUT if not...

Then I would def. be pizzed, hurt and upset and I def. would be having a talk with him!

Oh boy, DH knows that if he is going to pull crap like that, he is better off not coming home. I would NOT stand for that!!

Wow, I would castrate my husband.

I have NO problem with him going out - he goes out all the time with his friend Charlie, his friend Jason or my brother - I actually enjoy having the time to myself (either that or I'll go out with friends or fam)... BUT with Christmas - I mean, that is just irresponsible and unfair to you. Also, when he is supposed to be shopping for your gift - which means he waited until the last minute and obviously it is not important enough to do even then! Yikes - he would be on the couch for a LONG time.

So sorry - I would suggest a convo regarding priorities and where/when maturity comes into play.
