Spinoff to: The Song Game Thread (How are you coming up with songs?)
Just wondering how people are coming up with songs for the Song Game Thread. I'll admit it, I look up songs on-line.
How is everyone else coming up with songs?

I am a savant when it comes to music and songs....
In that case, I'm the idiot half of the "idiot savant" when it comes to music and songs... 
I know what I like, but I usually have no idea who sang it, what the name of the song is, etc. I can sing along to it, though....

I floor DH with the amount of music knowledge I have on almost every genre - except classical and country - I dont like country, but I love classical, just dont know who composed what - but I know almost everything within classic, hippy stuff, jam bands, folk, alternative, punk, indy, some rap and R&B - not too up on the recent stuff....

i can usually come up with them off the top of my head. if not, then my itunes list comes in handy!

I save my "savant-ness" for more important things..... If I get a glimpse of a car zooming past, or see a body panel, an outline, rusted out shell of a car, etc., I can usually tell what make/model, and year (plus or minus 2 or 3) the car is.

Im old. I am also the youngest child of four two of which were born in the 50s. My exposure to music goes way beyond my years - that and I remember the day MTV was launched.
