there's a really good bakery on metropolitan avenue in forest hills- between continental and ascan. forget the name- I used to live a couple of blocks from there and we always used to get them- --- SO GOOD!!!

Buttercooky Bakery on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park - pretty close to the Floral Terrace.

Dortoni's on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown is AMAZING! When I was pg I went there for treats all of the time

Riesterer's in West Hempstead is EXCELLENT!
If you want to go into central Nassau, then I'd suggest Sweet Karma in East Meadow.
