 I would give it back to her and say......"I know you put TONS of thougt into this but I prefer the natural look. Oh and here's your punch card. It looks like you go a lot and I wouldn't want you to miss out on your next free wax...."

i totally agree.
they prob figured they could get away with it b/c it is a "secret" and won't be found out but so many times the secret santa's get revealed...
last night at our company christmas party (which was gorgeous - at a hall) we did the secret santa thing and everyone started announcing who gave who what! lol! i mean, i didn't mind but it is supposed to be a secret!
my question is - why would this person participate? usually it is a choice to participate in the secret santa - so, if you are a cheap asss then don't do it!

that was exactly my point. Secret Santa is voluntary...not everyone participates. Mostly everyone at work is so thoughtful and you should have seen some of the fabulous gift people gave. if you're not going to take the trouble to "play fairly", then why bother!
