Help - awkwardness! Present related
I hate when I get gifts from people and I didnt get anything for them! Its dso thoughtful of people and it makes me feel so bad. 2 people so far have given me gifts and it was totally unexpected and I didn't get them anything.
My question is - is it lame to get them gifts and give it to them on Monday.

Have you already given gifts out at work?
I'd just say that you'd planned on giving them out on Monday.
I hate when people give gifts so early, it feels like they are just looking for a gift back.

My DH tells me around 8PM last night.."Yeah, so I think I should have bought for 3 more people".
He only bought for 2..The 2 that he works closest with. The other 3 help him out a little here and there.
They are closed on Monday, so, he was going to bring them something on Wed.
I told him why don't you bring them in breakfast (he's a supervisor) and maybe some Starbuck's gift cards.
I guess he took my advice..He left here really early this AM.
I think if you have work on Monday that's fine. Bring them something then. Just tell them you planned on waiting until Monday.

Go on your lunch break and get them gift cards. Waldbaums has a lot of them.

same thing has happened to me. I always brought something in for them the next business day.
