the only way is if I were to log on to their outlook to access my work e-mail. Once I log off, I am off.

well then you should be fine. a friend of mine was connected to his work network to access stuff from his office computer at work---at home. so thats why i asked.
otherwise if you are not accessing their server from home -- u shouldn't have to worry
