i just donated last month - i didn't know they did the matching in december - darn! next time i donate i'll def wait to do it when i know they are matching - i donate every few months or so.

For information on 501c3 organizations in terms of $$$ received in donations etc. go to guidestar.com
It is a free service, you register with your email address and a password. Once you are registered you can search any name. It will bring up tax returns and discloses all $$$ received, expenses etc. If the organization has received less than $25,000 it will list the name only as organizations are not required to file a tax return if under $25,000.
990's are the tax returns.
