Hi

I am still very new here. I am going to be 34 and so will DH. We have been married for 9 years. After trying on our own for real for over a year I had HSG and found out I had both tubes blocked. I did 2 fresh IVF and 1 FET and nothing worked. I swiched RE and had surgery to remove the tubes. I will be starting a fresh cycle within the next few months. I am 28 and DH is 31. I came off BCP in Sept 2004. We tried for more than a year on our own with no luck. We started to see an RE in May of 2006. DH's SA came back abnormal.....low count and motility (morph was good). We did 3 unmedicated IUI's with the 3rd resulting in a ectopic pregnancy (August 2006). After that it was discovered that I had a blocked right tube. We had to take a 3 month break because I received a methotrexate shot for ectopic pregnancy.

We started treaments again in December 2006. After several more failed IUI's we decided to move on to IVF. We started our cycle this past May and I can thankfully say that I am currently 26 weeks pregnant.

I am 30 and DH is 33 - our only issue is MF - so we tried one IUI without medication and thankfully our insurance is great and moved right on to IVF - We retrieved 22 - tried a few natural fert and the rest ICSI - ended up transfering 2 ICSI and am now around 7 weeks pregnant with one

We still have 10+ frozen for the future - although the storage fees are adding up

I am 30 and DH is 31. We've been trying now for a year. DH is a testicular cancer survivor and only has 1 testicle. The testicle he does have had a varicocele. DH had a varicocelectomy done in January. Initial results were good. However, it seems like the varicocele has come back. DH's morphology is horrible, although his volume is good.

We started going to Cornell IVF in November and once I get my period, I'll do my first medicated IUI. I'll be taking Follistim and Ovidrel. If 2 cycles don't work, we'll be moving on to ICSI.

hi there...

I'm 30 and my DH is 35. He had epydidimitis (sp?) about 6 years ago which caused scar tissue and a blockage. We tried on and off for about 3 years. He had surgery in June 06 and we still had no luck. After some irregular periods I went to RMA NJ and was diagnosed with PCOS. Still learning about it...

My DH still has to go back and get another SA and we will take it from there !

Me 29 DD 31. Married for 8 years...out of those 8 years only maybe 1 on bc. Always knew there was something wrong. Starting officially trying March 06. September of 06 tested and found out DH has a very low count and morphology due to bi-lateral varicocele. Was recommended to go straight to IVF because IUI would be a waste with a count that low. Started IVF/ICSI January of this year. Got pregnant and now have a 5 week old DD.

DH is planning on having his bi-lateral varicocele repaired next year...hoping to conceive our next DC naturally but if not will go back to IVF again. Good luck to everyone!!!

another secret identity here...

DH and I are both in our late 30s. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 8 years ago and promptly went on the pill and only came off it 15 months ago. I've probably gained 30+ pounds since going off the pill and all of my PCOS symptoms have returned with a vengence.

Because of the weight gain, I'm embarrassed to go to the doctor, but I know I need to. DH and I also aren't 100% committed to having children. I'm also afraid to fail at getting pg and raising children -- by not reallyreallyreally trying, I'm not failing, if that makes any sense.

DH and I are both 26. I went off the pill after getting married and never got my period on my own again. I went to the dr and they confirmed PCOS. I used provera to get my period and did one cycle of 50mgs clomid.. didnt work

Next cycle 100mgs clomid and I produced one follicle but ovulaed on almost day 30.

Next three cycles were at 150mgs. The first one I did ovulate and then it stopped working all together. We were planning on doing IUI with the last to cycles that didnt work.

In the midst of all this DH went for SA and his morphology is very low. 5% the first time and 3% the second time.

We are now awaiting our first RE consultation which is on Wednesday to discuss IVF

I've done 2 Clomid IUI's
Had 2 laporoscopy's to remove one tube and then cauterized the other (they were hydrosalpinx)
and have done 10 IVF's (had one ectopic, not in the tube, but on the outside of my ute)

No one is sure why it isn't working
Is it my eggs? Is it implantation? Immune issues? Bacteria? Bad luck?

Been to tons of drs and there is no definte answer

I've done BA, Lovenox, IVIg, Folgard, Zithromax, eaten pineapple, done acupuncture, drank wheat grass, etc, etc, etc

Who the he!! knows anymore

I am 36 and DH is 40. Married for 2 1/2 years TTC since February. My periods were always irregular and was put on BCP at 19. On and off all these years. Finally went to RE in october and have been diagnosed with PCOS. DH SA is perfect. HSG is all clear. Clomid 100mg with IUI last month resulted in BFN and a short LP. This cycle clomid 150mg/IUI produced 2 follies and will be going to RE x-mas eve to get progesterone level checked. Apparently I have some hormonal issues, hypothyroid, extremely low testosterone, overweight. RE prescribed metformin but other than one pill I havent started it yet. Currently in 2ww for us all
