some people...
just rub me the wrong way. I work in a team of 5 people, one of whom thinks she needs to outshine everyone at all times at all costs..her latest vendetta is against me... We had a small breakfast and emailed back and forth about what we were all bringing. I responded first and said I had made chocolate chip cookies. Everyone else responded with bagels, juice, etc.. She never responded except to say 'see you tomorrow.' She shows up, to my office, and announces to us all that she has made "the most outrageous, to die for, chocolate chip cookies, you have EVER had"... all dramatic and everything  The 4 of us just looked at each other, like, umm and someone said, with cookie in hand, "Jen made yummy cookies"... to which the reply was "these will make you forget about those... i promise, this recipe is fabulous" LOL just thought I'd share... anyone know someone like this?

Yup, I feel ya. Dealt with a woman like this in fact today. She is the Director of a competitor program and is always talking down to myself and my co-workers like she thinks she's my boss or something (who of course doesn't act this way), and trying to constantly one-up me/our other staff. She also is constantly trying to find errors in our work so she can brown-nose to the powers that be from the state about how she thinks her program is so much better. I want to throttle her.

Well after she made that comment about your cookies, I would of pulled her along the side and told her that her comment wasn't nice and she should think of others peoples feelings before she opens her mouth sometimes!
She really needs someone to tell her her comments are rude!
