Steaming mad!
Remember a while back I posted about a co-worker, one of our investigators, who told my team leader, in front of me, that he thought that legal (ME) was "misinformed" and that they should go over my head?
Fast forward to a month ago. We have a case we're working on together and he gives me the file and asks me to look at it. I write up an extensive 4-page summary of the data, with evaluation and follow-up questions we need to ask of the complainant, which I send to him via email. STUPID ME, I forgot to CC our team leader on the email.
I haven't heard anything from the investigator for 4 weeks, until yesterday, our team leader forwards an email exchange between the two of them, to me. Basically the email exchange shows that our team leader was getting on his case about providing an analysis of the case to him, so finally the investigator sent him back something yesterday.
Guess what it is? MY EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS, word for word, without giving me ANY CREDIT.
So, I sent the following right now to my team leader and the investigator:
"I read through the attached - I agree with the evaluation and analysis, as much of the evaluation derives from the evaluation I conducted a few weeks ago (see attached)."
And, I added a few questions covering items that were still missing, that I had originally identified.
WHAT A FLIPPING CREEP!!!

I would have forwarded the actual email that I had sent that a$$hole in the beginning to the team leader so he could see the date/time stamped of when you FIRST sent it out! what a jerk!
