AFP results
How long did it take to get the results back? Did the doctor call you or did you call doctor to get them?

They said I would find out at my next appointment (which was 4 weeks later) or I coulod call in 2 weeks. Every office is different though.

My Dr didn't call me...they said I would find out at my 20 week appt. I went yesterday for an infection and they said everything was fine! (It was 1.5 weeks after I took the test!)

but i'm assuming if the test results aren't good they would make it a point to call you earlier..right?

My Dr. def would. He always says that we'll discuss the results at your next appt...unless something comes back that we don't like! I think they have to tell you right away!

Call the office if you are curious, when I had my 1 hour glucose, I passed, but just barely and she wanted me to take the 3 hour, but she never called me.
