If you have been to Westbury Music Fair...

is there a bad seat to be had?

I bought tickets and did the "best available" and paid the higher price for tix. I got section A, and now when I look on the seating chart, are these tickets behind the stage?

I hope these are good seats Chat Icon

Thoughts?

I was there yesterday, in section H row G and the seats were really good. Where you are sitting is really good! The place is so small any seat is really good!

Awesome - this makes me feel so much better! Section A is next to Section H so that is good.

Would you say you were directly lined up with the "front" of the stage?

When I saw SEAL there, they did not play in the round. They closed off half of the stage and a fraction of the seats. Regardless, we still had good seats even though we were slightly off to the side.

Or every seat is a bad seat as you're behind the stage for 1/4 of the show.

I was there yesterday in Section C row F. I have been to other events at WMF and always sit in Row C and always have the front view....It's a revolving stage, so you will never just see the performers back

Re: If you have been to Westbury Music Fair...

there is 1 part where you are behind the pit...that could be a bad view if you are towards the bottom...

its small and personal and you will love your seat...

in the other post when we were talking about the event, there is a link where you put in your row and section and it gives your a virtual view...

i choose not to go. DW and I are fans but not huge fans to go to a concert. I youtubed it and they both put on good shows....but not for 150 bucks.. but i think its worth it for the setting.

last time I was there for John Tesh, the stage rotates very slow...i would imagine most people use the rotateing and hopefully...they will go into the stands and sing...

you will enjoy the show with any seat!!

Re: If you have been to Westbury Music Fair...

The stage is round, so you can never be "behind" the stage, unless like someone said that they block it off. I have never seen it done that way, but I have also never seen any singers there (just comidias) I doubt they would sell seats behind the stage if they are blocking it off.

The theatre is very small so even if you had the seat all the way up top, it's still not bad at all.

I totally think the seat you got will be great!
