How many mom's...
got funny looks from other people when you went out with your baby? Maybe it was because you look too young to be a mom or other reasons....
I know I've gotten many surprised looks from women....

I don't where I live because its a military town and their are mom's much younger then me with children much older then my son.
But I was in philly for Thanksgiving and my husband was away for hunting and needless to say I made sure to shine up my Ering and Wedding Rings so they were very noticable because I got tons of looks. I'm 26.

In a store the other day someone asked me how much nannies get paid. She was very embarassed when I said I was her mother, not her nanny.
And I guess I have a young sounding voice. About half the time when we get a telemarketing call, they ask me to speak to my mommy. I say "I am the mommy."

I get those looks all the time! I'm really short 5' 1" and look like I'm 16ish (I'm 26). It has gotten a lot better now, compared to when I was pregnant and would get pity stares! Needless to say, I too make sure my engagement & wedding bands are visible!

Yes, I've gotten tons of looks. I remember the first time I went to the mall with him, a woman blatently stared at me as I walked past her. I am young, but I've gotten used to getting looks. Like others have said, I make sure to flash the wedding and e-ring as much as possible.
One of the funniest things was when I saw the mother of a boy I used to date in the beginning of High School. She was like: "Oh my god, you have a BABY?" She was oohing and ahhing over him when I said something about DH and she was like: "You're MARRIED too?" I guess it's pretty normal for young girls to have babies without a guy around now

I must look old for my age because I haven't gotten any looks or questions with Emily and was 10 when my youngest sister was born and everyone thought I was her mom by the time she was 2 or so. By the time I was about 16 and she was about 6 it was just ASSUMED that I was her mother when I was out with her in public.
I guess when you are heavier people just think you look older.

My fingers have been incredibly swollen since I got preggo again, and now that I dont have my Ering or wedding band on I occasionally get looks..
With my first pregnancy the same thing happened after I had my son.. I swelled and obviously looked much younger.. I think almost three years under my belt aged me a little!! LOL.. I like getting a few strange looks, it makes me feel like I am not turning into an old maid!!!

Oh ... I have! There is a whole MESS of grey hair sprouting up in the center of my head that you can't see in the picture.
I always had a few grey hairs ... now I'm starting to get a bride of frankenstein stripe since Emily is here. She doesn't stress me out -- so it has to either be my FIL or the lack of sleep!
