Unless you are willing to pay a lot more than retail, the chances are slim.
You could park your butt outside of BestBuy at 3am on the day they get their shipments and pray for the best!

i suggest signing up for the email or text alerts so you can run online and order it
also you can try to call best buy and asstd stores.. i know fridays toys r us has been getting them by me... and sundays my best buy had them...
call call call till u find out when theres a shipment and u can get ur hands on one

I hope you are successful. My mom got one for my nieces and nephew for Chanukah and I had a blast playing it. I would love one for myself.
ETA: I think this is an incredible way to get children active if they are inclined to play video games.

I know Target in Farmingdale is getting a shipment on Sunday, but they said unless we are waiting outside of the store at 3am, we probably won't get one, and even then the chances aren't that great.

I've also been trying to get one. I don't get the 3am thing though. If you are there at 3 am, but the store isn't open, how does it work? Do you camp out until it opens? Jeez, alot of work for a video game

I know last Christmas the Nintendo Store in the city was getting regular shipments of them...limited but regular. You will have to be fast and possibly stand on line at an ungodly hour though. Good Luck!

This is what my BIL did. We tried to get it on LI and few times and couldn't. But he happened to try the Nintendo store when he was at work and got one.
ETA: It was about 10 days ago though, I don't know if that has changed.

Not exactly!! You will be waiting from 3am till 8,9,10pm to get a ticket. My DH got one last year, and I bought one for my niece two months ago. We got the one at Circut city and waited 1 hour to get a voucher. I think we where there at 7am. The one I got two months ago, I bought at Toys R us. I was their at 7:30am and got a voucher within 15 min. Now that it is a week and a half away from Christmas, it is going to be nearly impossible. I know someone who got one two weeks ago and they waited on line for 3 hours.

if you really want it and can do the time, you get in line once you find out which store will have it and you got it...
its that simple...
being causual and just strolling into a store, you won't find it unless you are lucky
