I love jury duty! UPDATED
I don't have to be in today until 10:30 
Updated:
The judge declared a mistrial 
It was fun while it lasted.
Then I did some major damage at the outlets.

ETA: The last time I had jury duty, I had to be in Riverhead by 9AM during a torrential rain storm!!

I woke up at the time I am usually at work. NICE!!!
I don't understand why people try to get out of Jury Duty. It is actually a lot of fun. And I used my "waiting time" to finish all of my assignments for school and finish all of my christmas cards.

I get out of it because I don't drive due to medical reasons & if I had to report to Riverhead from Huntington I'd be scr**wed.

Well, thats understandable. I meant the people that have no excuse other than they don't want to do it. I am sure if they were on trial they would want a fair jury.

I liked it too. Loved our judge.
We went in late some days and some days, I was home by 1
It was a week long, but, I certainly didn't mind being there.

I was on a 5 week trial last year and it was awesome. Most days we didnt have to be in until 10 am and got out at 3 pm. A few days a witness didnt show, so I'd be home by 11 am. I miss it!

i have only ever been called for jury duty once and i had to ask to be excused due to the nature of the offense 
however, i would love to serve on a jury - i find that stuff very fascinating. plus i would LOVE to be out of work for a few weeks

I was on a first degree murder trial that lasted for 5 weeks, physically and emotionally draining
it was veryy interesting but the word fun does not come to mind
eye opening and depressing, fun, not so much
