Has anyone here
Done a second round of Clomid within the same cycle?
I'm mimiking Jen2999 here, and the clomid has stopped working. While I could just give up this cycle since we are moving to IVF next, I don't want to waste a month and feel like I'm not being proactive (especially since my RE is requiring me to take a month off before starting IVF). The doctor said I could do another round of Clomid this cycle, starting this evening, and is upping my doseage to 150mgs. My sono this morning showed no growth and my lining to be thin still. And I was told my bloodwork looks the way it would look had this been the start of my cycle.
I'm currently CD14 and did get a +OPK yesterday, which apparently was a false positive. I have to go back on Sunday for another sono and more bloodwork.
If any of you did two rounds of Clomid in the same cycle, did it make you crazier than normal? I don't get crazy nutso on Clomid, just a tad though. I'm just worried about the extra 50mgs.

I did a back to back clomid cycle in July/August. After 100 mg didn't work for me, I was bumped up to 150 mg.
I had a bad experience on Clomid but I'm not the norm, I know. Good luck

Yes, last cycle I took two rounds of clomid, both times 50mg/day. After the second round I did get a follie but it took a really long time, they were about to give up when I had one last sono and had a 12mm follie.
This cycle they upped the dose to 100mg/day and I got one really good follie out of it, and got my trigger 6 days after the last pill.

Thanks... This is my 6 month on the Clomid, and even on 100mgs, I O very late (last month was CD22 and the month before CD26). My hubby sounded scared when I told him more clomid and an increase in the doseage 
ETA: Last month, when I received my trigger the follie on CD21 was at 18mm, but it took a LONG it took a long time to even see that growth.

Thanks. This is within the same cycle, not back to back (if that makes sense). I only just finished the clomid last Wednesay (which was also the last day of AF) I guess I'm just scared of how it's going to make me taking them so close together.

When I said back to back I meant with no AF in between...did 5 days at 100 mg, no response, then a few days later did another 5 days at 150. So it was all the same cycle. Hope this makes sense.
