Quick RE question
We are meeting for the first time with Dr. Cohen from North Shore on Tuesday.
Just wondering what to expect at the appt.
Is it just a consulation or do they do an exam also...need to know if I should make sure to shave my legs or not!

Not sure what standard procedure is, but mine did a sono when I went. I don't even remember why, but I was not expecting it and I think it was sort of spur of the moment. I would shave, worst case if they don't examine you, you'll have smooth legs for DH

Expect a sonogram. Dr. Cohen is lovely. He did one of my IUIs a couple of months ago.

I haven't been to that practice but I know at my initial consult I had an internal sono and was NOT expecting it, unfortunately.

On my first visit it was a consult only...since I was having treatments already at a previous clinic , had had an IUI, They did a quick sono but they would not have if I hadnt...

Me too. i Had an internal sono, and I had my period  I could not believe after I told him that he still had to do the sono!

I am a patient of NSUH and Dr Rosenfield did a breast exam, speculum exam, pelvic exam and internal sonogram. All which IMO are needed during an initial evaluation
