I had my IUI today
Well I had the IUI done today. My RE said that DH's sample was ok, but not super, I think its because we BD last night and didn't give him a chance to build up. When I went to the office yesterday for the trigger, the nurse said to BD that night. I don't know. I asked the RE what are my chances of this working and he gave me 10% due to DH's sample and my age(34). After everything was done, I started spotting a bit probably from the speculum, but they put me on bed rest for today. When I finally got home I just busted out crying. I'm trying to stay positive. I go back on 12/21, so lets hope that there will be a little present in my oven for Christmas.

Good luck! I had mine last Wed. I am 36 and DH's sample was very low, so I bet my chances are much less than yours. I think we made the same mistake, not allowing enough time for him to "build up". I did the same exact thing, went home and cried. It's such an emotional roller coaster.

My DH also has a VERY low sperm count. Those guys can move, he just doesn't produce enough of them. We were finally successful with IUI (just about to give up and go to IVF) - I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you that IUI works

Thank you. How many cycles did you do? Did you do injectables or clomid?

Thanks ladies for all the well wishes. I really appreciate it. I was wondering if anyone felt funny after having the IUI done. My lower ab feels full. Also I have a lot of gas, maybe from the pre-natal vitamins.
