I know Timbaland did a remix for the song "Aploligise"
But why isnt One Republic getting the credit it deserves???
Everytime I hear it played on the radio, they always say it is Timbalands song and never ever mentions One Republic.
Even the tv on my elevator at work had the top 3 songs of the week.
#3 was Apoligise, by Timbaland.
Why is this???

I don't know, but I love that song and it's really annoying that Timbaland gets all the credit just because he throws out "Hey, hey, hey" in the intro and a few beats during the bridge.

Could it be because Timbaland is more mainstream and it is a tactic to sell more of his records???
I really dont know. I have noticed this though.

I actually hear "One Republic" and Timbaland together...they used it on Gossip Girl and they showed the One Republic album cover. It's a gorgeous song. When I get certified to teach I want to use "regular" music in addition to yoga music and have a class called Smooth Flow...and use this!

I really dont know. I have noticed this though.
That could be. I guess people are more likely to listen to a song with Timbaland's name attached to it than some random band called OneRepublic. Might be a good play for the OneRepublic to get more exposure.

The mix that they play comes from Timbaland's album. The version by One Republic alone does NOTHING for me.
