Similar to Uggs
What is the other brand name(s) for Ugg boots?
I want to get a pair for my mom but she could not care less about brand names.

I didnt know there was another name outside of "Uggs". I just have seen ones that look like Uggs....pretty much everywhere.

If the bottom ones are Union Bay - do not get those - they are awful in the snow - I havea pair and wore them last weekend - my feet were cold and wet, and I almost slipped on the kitchen floor coming into the house!!!
GO to DSW - you will be shocked at all the boots there for awesome prices (no this is not a commercial!  )

If you're looking for just as good or better quality, there's koolaburra brand. They have the classic short and tall, made in Australia, around the same priceas uggs. I even heard the quality is a bit better than uggs. Taylor shoes.com sells them.

Thanks for the responses!
I found a pair at Easy Spirit on sale for $45 but they looked itchy and the soles were like foam so they wouldn't be good on icy sidewalks.
I do think you get what you pay for so I think I'll just splurge on a better pair for her.
