Is anyone an RN?
I really need to alleviate some of the pressure/clogged feeling in my ear from my ear infection. What can I do? I'm on a ton of medicine and nothing is helping. I can't take this pain anymore.

Re: Is anyone an RN?
sorry can't help..not much experience with ear infections. you can try a hot towel on that side of your head. that might alleviate some of the pressure. good luck!!

Re: Is anyone an RN?
not an RN but warm compresses should help. My son just had the worst ear infection.

Re: Is anyone an RN?
When my daughter had one last weekend I was told to lay her on the opposite side from the one that hurt so that the one that hurt was facing up. She also said I could place 2 drops of warm olive oil in her ear and warm compresses.
Feel better.

Re: Is anyone an RN?
Ugh, nothing is helping - this is driving me insane (and not to mention keeping me up when I have to go back to work tomorrow!).
I started meds on Tuesday - shouldn't I be feeling a little bit better?!?!
