pressure and some pain???
so i had my doc appt today, she said im about a finger tip and my cervix is softening...tonight I just feel totally off...I have pains in my pelvis ...im also feeling a lot of pressure...not exactly sure what is going on right now...pretty positive its not labour, i mean i dont really know what contractiosn are but i dont think this is it...my back hurts all the time and tonight is no different...i would expect it to hurt a lot more then it is and the doc didnt seem to think i would be going yet today...just wondering i guess if this is normal and if any other 36+ wkrs are feeling this way?

I have had a good amount of pressure for weeks now (probably since around 27 weeks or so). I feel is especially when I stand up and sometimes it is so bad that I cant stand up straight.
My dr. also told me at my last appt. that I should expect to feel some sharp pains in my pelvis and that that would be normal..just the body getting ready, but not contractions.
Im 37 weeks and Im feeling the same way as you are....I have an internal on Friday though, so Im not sure if Im dilated or anything. But I feel the same way that I have for weeks, so I doubt it.

haha all three of our posta have been consistant lately so im thinking we are normal...i also have pelvic pain...pessure...i get and inernal on wed...im 38 weeks then....come on lil man...make your long journey!!!!

lol i guess its all normal! im 37 wks friday so we are all at the exact same point...i really want to meet this little girl!!!! make sure you both post how everything goes at your next appts!

Ill definately post how the dr. appt goes tomorrow. Even though I know it doesnt mean anything, Im dying to know if Im dilated. Im 37 weeks today and off of bedrest!!!!Yay!!!!
....Looks like we have one boy, one girl and one surprise expected right after Christmas....What names did you guys pick?

I have had a lot of pelvic pain and pressure in the last few weeks as well. And as of this week it actually got hard to walk normal.
I go for an internal today so I am hoping that it will mean something good!

We have chosen Mya Jacklynn (weird spelling for middle name but its got meaning)

i got a lot of presssure from week 36 til birth. I was checked at 38 weeks and was 1cm, a day or so later I went into labor (again, had no clue I was in labor really). same pressure feeling, just saw some blood in my urine which turned out to be a slow leak.

my nutty dr doesn't do internals...
But bc of my complications I get 2 reg sonos tomorrow at LIJ

Thanks! I have a feeling that after all that trying to keep the baby in, Im going to end up going late anyway...we'll see....
For a boy we are going to do Brendan Charles and for a girl maybe Addison(not sure yet though) Mya is pretty!

love those names!!! Charles will be our boys middle name one day too...its also DH and FIL middle name :)
love Addison!!! such a cute name...
actually come to think of it your boy and girl name are both ones I threw out there for DH only to be turned down :( ...he did that with almost every name I came up with though...hes a picky man!

Thats funny because since we knew the boys name so quickly, everyone says its going to be a girl!!
