Backwards Feet Waitress: I’m Not Disabled!
27-year-old Chinese woman Wang Fang was born with feet facing backwards!
But she’s learned to live with her condition without problems and recently refused a disability pension.
“I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant,” Fang said. “There is no reason to class me as disabled. I’m like everyone else - except of course that I put my shoes on backwards.”
Wang, who has a five year-old son with normal feet, sure is one brave woman

Actually, it looks like her ankles are bent 180 degrees. I think I see toenails on the "bottom" of her feet, and the soles look more like the tops of feet that have been walked on.
Good for her, though that she doesn't feel handicapped, and doesn't want handouts for something she doesn't feel she needs.

Having been to China, I'm not surprised. The vast majority of the country is still very third-world, despite much of what we read.

My uncle was born with 'backwards feet' or 'turned ankles' if you will.
All the old black and white pictures of him show him with big braces on his feet and ankles.
It was like something out of Forrest Gump. He didn't walk for years but it didn't trouble him after they 'turned'.
Good for her for having a positive attitude in a bad situation.
