I think we're being pranked

For the past few days, only during the week...we seem to be getting messages on our machine at home with the song "Kentucky Woman" by Neil Diamond....when I star 69, the number is private. DH thinks maybe it's some computer generated thing, like a telemarketer or something. I'm getting freaked out.....the message is all crackled, but I can make out the song. Either some freak has a crush on me or it's some dumb joke....either way, I don't like it. Not one bit! Anyone getting similar calls???? Going to erase soon so DO NOT quote

OMG, my boss at my old job was getting these same exact phone calls with the same song last year! She thought it was her ex husband, but who knows. SHe called the police and they said they couldnt trace it because it wasn;t on the line for long enough.

It must be a thing if its the same song to multiple people.

A while ago I started getting calls from what sounded like giggling pre-teens. I blocked my number to private calls, and while it took my parents a little while to figure out how to call me (you have to unblock) it is totally worth it!

jackie, i'm glad i posted this...it must be some business doing automated calls....they are long messages, though...at least 30-40 seconds

She eventually blocked private calls on her phone. You could try to report it to the police, but they told her because it was a message, never actually while she was home, they couldnt trace it.

They stopped after while, a few weeks maybe. She's probably still convinced it was her ex.

Nah, it's no one I know...the song makes zero sense...I bet it's some computer thing. we'll see what happens and thanks for the info...this makes me feel A LOT better. Unless her ex likes me, too. heh heh
