this happened to us when DD was only a few weeks old and I was scared to let her sleep
I think I stayed up all night checking her breathing

He shut it cause the fire was all out but I guess some of the log was still hot, and he didn't want the downstairs to get cold, I was like you NEVER shut the flu just incase!! Everything is fine now thankgod!
