I was an iPhone 'nay sayer'
until last night...
my sister fron CA is here  and she just got one. I was playing with her phone for an hour  I really want one now, but there is NO WAY I am ever leaving Verizon!
she only pays $70 a month and that includes unlimited internet access  the phone also has GPS, I didn't know that!!

its not a gps..it does not track you in real time and know where you are. its the same google maps you have access to on a pc or mac with turn by turn instructions...
the verizon phone has more of a gps "vznavagation" then the iphone...

I have been dying to get one!!!! I am getting jealous  I LOVE AT&T no problems, BUT I hear that phone is so expensive. I do want one though

oh really? I thought it was like a regular GPS system.
either way, that phone is pretty awesome. $70 a month for all that is not bad at all

u can get a refurb 4 gig one around that price else, the 8 gig is 399 new with a refurb coming in around 320 from the apple store...

The only reason I don't like it is the storage. I don't think 8 gb is enough when you upload music and video and pics.
I've seen the pics on there and they are great.
Good luck with Verizon getting it though. It has exclusivity with AT&T.

i have one and like it but dont think its worth the money. i paid the 599 price when it first came out and was hesitant. mine seems to freeze often but is a good phone. i use the camera alot to take pictures of my daughter and the text messaging becuase its easy to do. its more of a novelty imo. my old phone was on its last leg and over 5 years old. i got a whole bunch of apple gc's and bought it becuase there is no way i was paying 599. dh has one too and loves it. swears by it and is obsessed with it. he downloads movies and watches them on the train ride into work.

D I just got the Samsung I760 Verizon. It retails for $400.00 but I was eligible for an upgrade and after a 50.00 rebate I got it for 100$. It has so many features it will probably take me forever to use them all!
It's really nice. Check it out on their website. It's like an Iphone and Blackberry all in one

i'm not sure why people have the thing that 8 gigs is small...8 gigs is plenty to be have of music, videos, etc... after all, its still a phone.
besides, if you are using your phone more for music and video, your phone will die within a day. the battery is not the best but considering everything that goes into this...i don't reccomend this if you are goging to use music/video all day long. intermintent use is fine but on an avg day, you need to charge over night else you will have a dead phone
once technology gets better and battery support exceeds what we need, this is not an "ipod replacement"
for thos wanting to stay in verizon, i would look at the voyerger as it suppose to be an iphone killer..
