heartburn sufferers
I am so uncomfortable I can't believe it. I get heartburn every once in a while, but today it has not stopped. I'm burning from my throat to my stomach. My question is, when you take an OTC antacid, do you take regular or extra strength. A friend of mine swore by cherry maalox(?) but I have only seen it in Extra Strength. The pharmacist today told me to take regular only. What do you do? I'm desperate and Tums isn't cutting it (& milk makes me gag). TIA!

Re: heartburn sufferers
How many weeks are you?
If you are in the 1st trimester, I took extra strength maalox.
2 tirmester, I take once Pepsid AC in the morning and it helps.
Feel bette. I have it all the time too.

Re: heartburn sufferers
I had the worst heartburn today - my solution was a Carvel ice cream cup. Yum - it worked!
