Level II Take 2
Still unsuccessful! Baby did not cooperate again. He/she is laying folded in half basically, so the tech couldn't get the heart pic. Now I have to have a fetal echocardiogram. Anyone have this?

Yup, you will enjoy it. We had one at just before 20 weeks, actually 2 days before my Level II b/c I have a heart condition and they just wanted to check the baby. We had a really great tech, who told us the gender, plus was sooo good at showing us everything on the screen. At least in the office I went to, the images are so much more detailed, and then of course they'll focus in on the heart extensively-- our tech was pointing out the chambers and other things to us. We got tons of pics too.
You'll be fine. It's just like a sono, just more detailed. And you'll get to see your little angel more!! Hopefully you'll get a tech who will show you all kinds of things!

Thanks - sounds cool! Was it 3-D?

Re: Level II Take 2
I don't think so. I didn't have a 3D sono so I'm not 100% sure of what they look like in person, but I don't think mine was. It looked just like the regular sono. But every office may be different.
You should enjoy it, it's really cool. And if your tech doesn't start out pointing areas out to you, ask. It's pretty darn cool (esp. seeing all the heart chambers, etc).
