Will Facials Help?
I have been breaking out on my chin pretty badly for about a month. I can't seem to get the pimples to go away, and then leave acne marks.
Do you think a facial maybe every 2 weeks or so would help?
I have never had one, and I am thinking about it. Any spa recommendations would be great.
TIA!

Re: Will Facials Help?
Sometimes after a facial the breakouts can be worse. I would by a good cleanser and start there.

I agree with the previous poster. But if you want to try getting a facial I would recommend Cornelia Spa in the city. I had the best facial there.

Re: Will Facials Help?
I have read that chin breakouts are usually hormonal. Try anti acne face soap. Are you using oil free makeup? My skin has been amazing since I started using Bare Minerals

Re: Will Facials Help?
Yes I use Neutrogena foundation.
I totally just got AF. But this has been going on for a month, I just changed my BCP because I think my body has changed. I don' t think it was responding to the hormones.
Can anyone recommed a soap? I have been using Neutrogena Anti Stress face wash. It has saliyic acid in it. It was working like a dream before the wedding.

clean your phone and your cell phone and stop touching your face. Try that for a week.

Re: Will Facials Help?
I think facials will help. But not that often. I go to a place in Massapequa~Java Spa. Or if you live out in Suffolk, you could go to Anthony Paul Salon & Spa. It's the same lady...Trish. She's awesome.
I find that salicyclic acid in facial cleansers really work too. I recently went to the dermatologist for my breakout around my jawline/chin and she said it's all hormonal. She gave me a topical cream called Ziana but it doesn't seem to be working at all.
I feel your frustration.

I also break out on my chin/jawline. ever since I was a bank teller in college -try not to touch your face and definitely clean your phones.
I went to the dermatologist and she also gave me Ziana - I don't think its doing much either, I like Azelec cream much better. but she also perscribed me Benzaclin and that stuff works wonders - it bleaches my towels, and i put it on my face, but it definitely clears it up!
