Ok, LIFers...be honest...
When you happen to catch a post that you know is going to explode...do you find yourself coming back to it to watch the horrible aftermath?
I swear, this in no way had to do with the explosions happening on the "icicle lights" thread.

nah..... usually, when people post acerbic/controversial threads, I think to myself 'oh, here we go again  '
if it happens too frequently, I actually log-on less frequently. I hate witnessing arguments

Who would think there would be drama disguised in a holiday light thread!?
Nobody would even notice until it got to 5 pages or so since holiday light discussions never garner that many posts or an insane number of views.

Depends on the subject - 9 times out of 10 I usually miss all the drama and I usually never respond bc its not worth getting all worked up about!

I very rarely log on to LIF from work so usually the drama ia 10 pages long & thoroughly rehashed by the time I read it. If I see the thread that was interesting or sometimes entertaining I will open it again the next day if I see it at the top of a forum. I don't check back regularly to see though. BTW I just read the icicle thread too...yup somehow even the boring home board can have drama

I think it depends- if its a serious topic (like the thread about the police shooting a few weeks ago) then I don't find it "entertaining" - its too much of a serious topic to enjoy people getting upset about.
However, if its about the ghetto-ness of icicle lights, then its hilarious.

I usually end up missing them before the are deleted. If I do happen to catch it though, I try to pinpoint the exact post where it started to spin wildly out of context and then watch the misinterpretations fly. It's crazy!
