Total surprise! I wouldn't touch DH with a 10 foot pole anywhere near ovulating, but we conceived 2.5 weeks after it was supposed to be the right time...this kid just wanted to join the party THAT badly.

We were away for our anniversary trip and decided to TTC. I wasn't exactly sure when I was O'ing, so we just drank ourselves silly and BD'd everyday. I miss those days.

We were trying for a few months and BD every other day. However, it actually happened when we weren't trying and didn't even BD close to my ovulation!

First try.

I went off of BC and we were going to wait a full cycle before we started actively trying. We didn't exepct it to happen right away.

we pretty much did the deed every day, every other day and i had just gotten off the pill so i was off the pill the end of june and i was PG by august!

i am very fertile so it worked on the first try for all 3 pg's.

However my doctor told to BD on CD10 and every other day after that. And stop on CD16. But my cycle was regular.

We didn't really think about it, we just BD'd whenever we wanted to and I was pregnant my first month off the pill.

The first month we got an OPK & BD 3x & no luck. The next month I accidentally was using the dollar store OPK & pregnancy test kits & stupidly took them out of the boxes & so was using the pregnancy kit instead of the OPK & obviously never got a ovulating +, so we just BD on CD 12 & bam!

threw away bc pills, bd all weekend when I though I was O'ing. And that was it!

One try on the 8th day of my cycle. Ron finally gave in. Took me a year to get him to cooperate.

Both times were on the first month trying, BD everyday around ovulation. Both were planned. This time around I did chart my temp for a year because I have PCOS and we needed to figure when I was ovulating. Once we got that on track it was just a matter of the time being right for us.
