Extension of Bra Help
I have been wanting to do this for a long time and don't know where. I currently wear a 36 D bra. But I feel like my bras don't fit correctly, does anyone know a place where they will measure me and fit me for a bra?
I went to Mary's in Woodbury for my wedding corset but they do not really measure you, I want the whole measuring experience because I feel like I need that to make it legit.

Don't they do it at Victoria's Secret? I'd just try to go at a time when it isn't that busy (although at this time of year that may be hard).

Well here are some suggestions....Victorias Secret will measure you and then send you to the fitting room with a whole box of styles in your size so you can try them all on and find the best one for you, JcPenny has a bra fitting clinic and they also give discounts if you do it, Macy's also does it. Hope that helps. I am a 36dd and have found that I really like VS. I tried Wacoal and i'm just not lovin them. Good Luck!

Nordstrom's in Roosevelt Field. I went last year and has the salesgirl Emily who was great. Not pushy at all, and really got me in my correct size. It's free and you just sign in when you get there and depending on how many people are there, you may not have to wait at all (I didn't).

I LOVE them - they not only fit you, they discount the bras AND they will take them in. The ladies are all like 100 yrs old and look at you and figure out what you need.
I had some bras that were falling off my shoulders and they pinned them and tailored them for $5 each.
It's old school - just like the ladies who work there.
Ok so they aren't 100 but they know bras...

Nordstroms offers this service. I have been dying to go but haven't made the time yet. Everyone I know that went says they leave feeling like a new woman.

You generally have your own personal saleswoman.

Ok maybe this is a stupid question, but do you need to get naked in front of the sales person? I am very shy being naked. That is the only reason I haven't gone for a fitting yet.

Yes. sort of. But they stand behind you to help you out. I never felt like I was hanging out in all my glory while I was being fitted. It's not like they are in front of you with you boobs hanging out. They show you how to adjust by demonstrating on themselves
