Nursery Question

What kind of window treatments are you doing/do you have in the nursery? Since I'm not getting bedding until after baby comes, I wanted to do plain white cordless cellophane blinds and then add a valance later on. DH doesn't think they'll block the light enough for when baby is sleeping. What do you have?

Re: Nursery Question

Do you think white wood blinds would block the sun better? I would do the blinds with a valance. I have baseboard heating in that room so I don't think I can have a panel over it.

Re: Nursery Question

Here are a couple of pics - the room was a nasty color and had tile on the floor Chat Icon DH laid pergo, installed an a/c in the wall and added the chair rail molding. Color is Kittery Point Green. I was concerned about it when he first put it on, but now the color is more muted and I really like it.

Obviously the baseboard will be covered

Re: Nursery Question

In our nursery has cordless white Hunter Douglas blinds with a valance at the top. DD could sleep with the blinds wide open and the sun pouring in if she was tired, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
