The saga continues... -UPDATE
So AF started Tues. night which was only 8 days after my trigger. I went for blood test on Wed. which showed my progesterone was low. So I go today for CD 3 tests and get a script for clomid so I can start tonight. Then a little while ago I get a call from my RE office saying not to start the clomid, that my pregnancy test came back slightly positive. So I say, what does that mean? The answer: Well, neg. pregnancy test is less than 5 and yours is 6. So its probably a false positive but you need to come in tomorrow for more blood.
Could it still be there is hcg in my body from the tirgger last week? It was 11 days ago that I got it. There is no way I could be pregnant, AF is here... right?
UPDATE - Beta came back negative for pregnancy today. They said I probably did have a chemical. So starting clomid 100mg tonight. I did ovulate on 50 last cycle, but it took two rounds and a really loooong time, so they are upping the dosage.
I guess the good news from all of this is that if it was in fact a chemical, then I can get pregnant.

Slightly positive??? Never heard that before but I was thinking this whole time that you could have just had implantation bleeding, not really AF - I've heard of women having early practically full flow and actually being pg...I would think that the HCG was out of your system by now. Has the AF been a steady full flow this whole time?
Hoping you're not out yet! Good luck -

Re: The saga continues...
I thought it might be implantation bleeding also, but the low progesterone may have caused a chemical. Which means that if you take progesterone supplements you should have no problem getting pg.

You know, I was thinking about this all afternoon and I thought about a chemical too...did you take any HPTs? I think Gerty might be right about the progesterone. Hope you get some answers and good luck next month!

Re: The saga continues...
thank you so much everyone for your thoughts!! I don't think that this is implantation bleeding, i am pretty sure its too heavy for that, and has been too many days. the thought it might have been a chemical passed through my mind as well. I did not take an HPT, i wasn't going to till next week when AF was due. I think with a beta of 6 it wouldn't register on and HPT, I believe even the most sensitive tests don't register a positive until the hcg gets to 25. I'll update tomorrow after I get my beta results back.
I just want to say that you ladies are the best! The support and knowledge on this board is unbelievable!
