so i realized last night...

that I'm due for AF any day now. DH has to get his SA done on Tues and you who know the story know what I'm up against. I convinced him to use the condom that they gave us to collect the sample- but that requires he and I BDing (he won't do it any other way) and now I'll have AF. I don't know what to do- he won't come near me w/ AF (another belief).
That being said does anyone know how long it takes to get results from a SA? I'm wondering if I can change his appointment and still have time to get the results before hand with enough time to do another collection so we can do IUI. i hope this makes sense...

back in the spring, we had the results later the same day or the next day. if you keep on the office, they can follow up w/ the lab to push it along. I would say though, normal circumstances, it probably takes no more than 1-2 days.

We've always gotten the results back the same day (usually within a few hours) of DH having given his sample.

Usually the same day...so, just call the doctor and explain that you won't be able to bring it in on Tuesday, but will bring it in as soon thereafter as you can.
