STAR Q.....
We just moved into our house the end of October....do we fill out a STAR application this year for next year or do we have to wait until NEXT Nov?

Cindy - in order to have STAR reflected on your next year's tax bill, you mst apply one year ahead of it. Tax bills usually come in Dec. and July.
You can get the application online from your town web site, or directly from the assessor's office at town hall.
I know Brookhaven has a deadline of March 1. Not sure what it is for other townships.
Make sure your drivers license are changed to your new address. You'll have to make a copy of yours and DH's when you submit the application.
