or the like...from your old CD's...
Did you KEEP your CD's then?
If not, what do you do with them?

I keep them - just in case the computer crashes so I have a back up. I have a few of those CD binders and keep them in there.

I kept them - in many cases, I didn't download the entire CD onto I-Tunes.
I'm glad I did keep them because we just had to rebuild our computer and we lost what we had on there.
For storage, I took the CDs out of their plastic cases and bought a soft cover case for them (kind of looks like a binder). Takes up a lot less room!

No. It's just extra stuff that takes up extra space.
I only keep CDs if they have some special significance, are limited releases, or if I really like the liner notes or something. Everything is backed up on an external hard drive.

We keep them b/c we have a surround sound stereo downstairs that we listen to music on. We haven't gotten an ipod compatible system for the stereo.

Ah, conflicting ideas!
Well, for now we have thrown out all the jewels and kept the cd's and covers in one big GIGANTIC cd binder thing.
I swear it must weigh a ton.
